BAYLEAF CAFE

I’m going to say it, this spot topped our Byron cafe list! We were welcomed with a big smile from staff and a cute, old local dog wandering around cafe…the perfect start to the day. The warm weather meant the outdoor tables were consistently full so we had to go communal and get cosy with our neighbours but it’s all part of the fun. Right next door was “Leaf and Grain” which is owned by the same people and offers a quick takeaway version of meals if you would prefer that option.

WHAT I ORDERED

FIRST TIME

  • Scrambled special: Scrambled eggs, chilli, feta, salsa verde and rocket on organic sourdough
  • Housemade Kombucha
SECOND TIME

  • Poached eggs, avocado and chargrilled lemon on organic sourdough
  • Bullet proof coffee

HIGHLIGHTS
– Interesting drinks menu

For once I could actually just order the meal as described on the menu!
