Store bought dips can be difficult to navigate for us with fructose malabsorption so I always opt to make my own. That way I don’t have to miss out and I find this tzatziki recipe far more tasty and fresh anyway! A few great, simple ingredients go a long way.


  • 1 Cup of Natural Greek yoghurt
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber
  • 1 TBS of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 TSP of garlic infused oil
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • 3 springs of mint
  • 3 springs of dill
  • Feta to sprinkle (optional)
  • Himalayan sea salt flakes and pepper


  • Grate the cucumber into a small bowl. Squeeze out most of the moisture and place into a larger bowl
  • Finely slice mint and dill then pop into the same bowl as the cucumber
  • Add all other ingredients and combine
  • Sprinkle over feta and extra herbs
